Pricing

Pricing is in CAD and is not negotiable. Shipping costs are separate.

Pricing will vary depending on size and complexity.

General Examples:

8 x 10 in (20.32 x 25.4 cm) $240 CAD
11 x 14 in (27.94 x 35.56 cm) $460 CAD
20 x 20 in (50.8 x 50.8 cm) $1000 CAD
24 x 30 in (60.96 x 76.2 cm) $1500 CAD
36 x 48 in (91.44 x 121.92 cm) $3400 CAD

Payment

Full payment is due upfrfor commissions $250 and under

For commissions over $250, payment is divided into 2 parts: 

  • 50% of the final cost due before the start of the work.
  • The remaining 50% + shipping to be paid within a week after completion of the commissioned artwork.

*I am open to payment plans for larger pieces*

General Guildlines

  • Please have visual references and a good description. 
  • I will not copy another artists work.
  • I can make a piece similar to one I've already done, but I will not replicate it.
  • Artistic freedom is necessary within reason.
  • I do not do portraits of pets or people.
  • I do not do digital commissions.
  • I reserve the right to decline a commission for any reason.
  • I do not accept refunds or cancellations on commissions once work has started and/or once the artwork is completed. I will work with you to create something that you love!

General Process

  • After completing the request form, I will reach out to you as soon as possible. We will discuss your vision for the commission, pricing/payment and estimated shipping costs. I will provide an initial sketch/mock painting for you to approve and make adjustments as necessary.
  • If you wish to go forward, I will send you an "Artwork Commission Agreement"
  • First payment (50%) is due after the "Artwork Commission Agreement" is signed.
  • I will start painting on an agreed upon start date and update you on the progress a few times until completion.
  • Minor revisions are possible at any stage (small details) and two reasonable revisions of the final artwork.
  • Additional revisions thereafter will be an extra charge.
  • I do not offer major revisions (new conceptual ideas, compositions, subject changes) after the sketching phase.
  • Depending on size and medium, commissions can take anywhere from 1-9 weeks (roughly) for completion after painting has begun. If delays arise, you will be notified.
  • Final payment (remaining 50%) + shipping is due once the painting is complete.

Use

  • Prices are for personal use only; no commercial use allowed. You may not profit from the art, sell prints or products, etc.
  • I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to the right to distribute, reproduce, copy and/or use as a sample for sales or self-promotion on my website and social media.
  • I will not make prints or whatnot of your commissioned artwork, so they are one of a kind!
  • You may upload your commission to social media, as long as you give credit.
  • I reserve the right to reuse sketches and design elements that were rejected by you for other commissions or personal works.
